A car thief arrested by Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) has admitted to selling vehicles.

 A car thief arrested by Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) has admitted to selling vehicles stolen from Karachi in Balochistan’s Quetta and Pishin.

According to details, cars worth Rs1.2 million were sold at Rs250,000 in Quetta and Pishin.
The Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) arrested a car thief named Ahsan Malik from Karachi while a prime member of the criminal group Aslam Tareen escaped. Ahsan and his partners have been stealing vehicles from Gizri, Defence and Bahadurabad, said AVLC officials.
AVLC officials have said that Ahsan used to steal vehicles from Karachi and sent them to Quetta and Pishin while another member of their gang is responsible for selling the stolen vehicles. Stolen vehicles originally worth around Rs1.2m are sold in around Rs250,000 rupees in Pishin and Quetta, they added.
According to a statement by AVLC Ahsan and his accomplices have been involved in organized car theft for the past 4 years. These criminals have been arrested on several occasions as well but they always find their way out, they added.

اینٹی وہیکل لفٹنگ سیل (اے وی ایل سی) کے ہاتھوں گرفتار کار چور نے کراچی سے چوری کی گئی گاڑیاں بلوچستان کے کوئٹہ اور پشین میں فروخت کرنے کا اعتراف کیا ہے۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق کوئٹہ اور پشین میں 12 لاکھ روپے مالیت کی کاریں 250,000 روپے میں فروخت ہوئیں۔ اینٹی وہیکل لفٹنگ سیل (اے وی ایل سی) نے کراچی سے احسن ملک نامی کار چور کو گرفتار کر لیا جبکہ جرائم پیشہ گروہ کا اہم رکن اسلم ترین فرار ہو گیا۔ اے وی ایل سی حکام نے بتایا کہ احسن اور اس کے ساتھی گزری، ڈیفنس اور بہادر آباد سے گاڑیاں چوری کرتے رہے ہیں۔ اے وی ایل سی حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ احسن کراچی سے گاڑیاں چوری کرکے کوئٹہ اور پشین بھیجتا تھا جب کہ ان کے گینگ کا ایک اور رکن چوری شدہ گاڑیاں فروخت کرنے کا ذمہ دار ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اصل میں تقریباً 1.2 ملین روپے کی مالیت کی چوری شدہ گاڑیاں پشین اور کوئٹہ میں تقریباً 250,000 روپے میں فروخت ہوتی ہیں۔ اے وی ایل سی کے ایک بیان کے مطابق احسن اور اس کے ساتھی گزشتہ 4 سالوں سے کار چوری کی منظم وارداتوں میں ملوث ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ان مجرموں کو کئی مواقع پر گرفتار بھی کیا گیا ہے لیکن وہ ہمیشہ اپنا راستہ تلاش کرتے ہیں۔
