Sana Mir has left the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) midway to partake in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup. The cricketer-turned-commentator, Sana is the only Pakistani in the commentary panel. Sana tried her hand on commentary in 2020 during the National T20 Cup and since then she has been serving her duties in many Pakistan-hosted international series. The upcoming Women World Cup will be her very first major ICC event. The right-arm off-spinner took it to Twitter and thanked her fellow commentator for making her experience beautiful as she left for the ICC tournament. Before putting her hand in commentary, Sana has enjoyed an illustrious career. She has represented Pakistan in 120 ODIs and 106 T20Is. On top of that, the Abbottabad-born is the leading wicket-taker in ODIs from Pakistan, having picked up 151 wickets at an average of 24.27 in 120 matches.
